Basket The basket has been manufactured from light weight, high strength tubular aluminum. The corrosion resistant construction will provide years of trouble free service. A basket floor mat of heavy duty rubber is fitted as standard. The basket measures 24" x 30" x 42" high with a rated capacity of 300 pounds. It features positive levelling in all positions by using a linear actuator system. A manual trim switch at both the upper and lower control stations is standard.
	Upper Control Station The upper control station located within the basket features a single joystick controller as standard equipment. Other features include: two speed control, stop/start switch, emergency stop, emergency lower and a 110 volt GFI outlet. Control and power cable harnesses are carried in a cat track system extending the length of the boom. By using the emergency lower and the manual trim controls, easy access to the basket is achieved in an emergency situation.
	Handrails Galvanized steps and handrails on the pedestals provide easy access to the ladder. Galvanized tubular handrails on the ladder booms offer security and safety. Rails measure 28" high in the horizontal position and 42" high at 50 degrees ladder angle. Ladder rungs are galvanized and bolted to the inner and outer booms for maximum strength. An aluminum safety grating walkway is provided as standard.
	Lower Control Station Located in the pedestal, the lower station duplicates the functions of the upper control station. In addition, there is an upper control override switch, reset button, master switch and hour meter.
	Booms The non-corroding upper and lower ladder rail sections are constructed from specially engineered aluminum alloy extrusions. This reduces weight without compromising strength and rigidity. The ladder extension system uses six glide blocks for smooth operation. These have been designed for long life as well as ease of replacement. The entire ladder assembly has been designed to allow easy inspection, service or replacement of components.
	Rotation Pedestal Rotation is achieved by the use of a shear ball bearing turntable driven by a heavy duty worm gear swing unit. This will provide years of reliable service with minimal wear/backlash. Rotation is 370 degrees non-continuous, controlled by the use of a limit switch. Located within the pedestal is a totally self sufficient hydraulic system. Included are: reservoir, in-line filter, sight and pressure gauges and the main valve body.
	Side Reach Side reach is a big concern when operating near soft shoulders or around parked vehicles. The model 37EH ladder has an unprecedented side reach of more than 31 feet. The lightweight boom design ensures that the ladder will meet or surpass the most stringent stability standards.
