VEHICLE DESIGNER/ PROJECT ENGINEER

Reports to:  Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Create proposal drawings and renderings
• Complete layout and manufacturing drawings for vehicle builds
• Create bills of materials, purchasing key components as needed
• Manage projects from conception through the build process
• Act as source for design and technical information for shop personnel
• Work with sales personnel and customers to ensure exact needs reflected in vehicle design
• Provide assistance to sales personnel to create custom quotes and technical sales proposals

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or diploma in mechanical technology
• Minimum 2 years industrial experience in a design capacity - preferably in same or similar industry
• Must be well organized and work well with limited supervision
• Must have outstanding communication skills
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Solidworks.
